The empire cut makes a slightly imperfect tummy disappear, the material is breatheable, very lightweight and great for hanging out at the beach. We live in the Caribbean, so these qualities in a dress are welcome. Its Hawaiian made, which may explain the suitability to hot beachy outdoors, and does it washes great! May need ironing to look neat however.
