I originally ordered a large, and it was way too big for my 5' 8, 135 pound self. The exchange was easy, and I liked the dress so much that I actually bought a second dress in a different pattern. The medium fits perfectly.The dress is very short. There is no excess material on the hem; otherwise I would let the dresses out an inch or two. If there was extra fabric, it would also help weigh-down the hem. I did have some problems walking outside on windy days (!).The dress material is high-quality, and their cut is very flattering.
