Beautiful but runs SMALL

Nice butter yellow color and flowers were beautiful. Dress runs small in the bust. Darts accentuate the tightness, especially on the left side where no flowers are.

I wear size 10-12 dress so based on reviews I ordered the XL in this beautiful dress thinking that I could tailor a bit in any larger spots. The dress JUST fit and was particularly snug across the bust - even though the arm holes were large and deep and would have indeed needed tailoring. The fabric was a rather mid-grade cotton which would have shrunk even with gentle handwashing or possibly dry cleaning. I had to return the dress, hoping to exchange for an XXL. Unfortunately XXL in this lovely yellow was not available. 3 stars instead of 4 due to sizing and fabric quality, but it really was lovely.
