Beautiful, but needed alterations

This dress is absolutely gorgeous, the material (slightly stretchy cotton) is just stiff enough to give the skirt a perfect flare and the colour is pretty. Plus you can't see in the photos, but there is some interesting detailing on the bodice.Lucky I can sew though, because although it fit perfectly at the waist, the bust space was incredibly generous. I bought a US size 4, and there cannot be too many women my size with a natural bust that would fill out this dress! The label owner herself excepted. :)But on me (a B cup mind you), the top gaped so much that there was a real danger of 'exposure'. Like, 'full' exposure.After some alterations it is perfect and sits beautifully, but I wouldn't recommend this for other small-busted girls unless you are prepared to get it altered (and note that there's an invisible zip on the side, so that's not a cheap alteration if you need to pay someone to do it).

LOVE this dress - it looks amazong on and the print is awesome! Leave it to Jessica Simpson to create a dress that fits a woman with some curves. Got a million compliments on it : )
