An elongated 100% cotton t-shirt dress

I had high expectations for this dress I intended to pack for a trip. I always wash everything before wearing it and washed it on a gentle cycle in my machine and hund it to dry. It is very wrinkled and because it appears not to have been pre-shrunk, the seams are now out of whack. This is a 100 percent cotton garment and I think it could greatly benefit from the addition of some synthetic (a 50-50 blend?). Also, if you have pets, just remember that this is exactly the type of material that seems to act as a magnet for cat hair and since I bought it in black, every speck shows.Now for those of you who hate the very mention of polyester (a dreaded elderly distant relative), this may be just what you are looking for-as for my trip, if at the very end of my packing it will fit in my small bag, then I shall tak it along. It seems like a quite appropriate garment style wise to wear when touring churches and can be "dressed-up" with a scarf or beads.I suppose if I took an iron to it, it might improve the dress's appearance. But as much as some people may hate polyester or any synthetic materials in their wardrobes, I detest ironing.
