XCVI Drapesy Dress: lovely

Another unique piece from XCVI, great for layering or wearing by itself. I think XCVI clothing runs a little larger than average for other brands. I usually wear size Small but the XS Drapesy fits me well, perhaps even a little loose on top. Love the asymmetrical hemline and dip-dyed color fade. The tan is too close to skin tone for me, and is the reason for 4 instead of 5 stars--I would have preferred a darker overall color or some other choices. The upper portion is more jersey-type fabric and the skirt feels more like stretchy lawn. The dress has a high waist (not empire waist though) which elongates the silhouette nicely.

Lovely dress, didn't fit

I loved the ombre look and ordered the dress hoping it would fit because XL sometimes fits and sometimes not. It was a bit clingy on my middle. I have no complaint about the look or construction.

Its nice but I have seen better

I purchased this dress thinking it would be nice to wear at a cookout or for a relaxing day. The material is made of cotton, but not the jersey type, it forms to the body real well, but honestly for the price you could buy three of these at Ross or Marshalls, It's just not a dress to pay this kind of money for I would pay 14.99 for it without any problems.
