Poor fit, polyester lining

The shell fabric is lovely - soft and flowing, with pattern just as in the photo. Unfortunately, the dress is lined with horrid, thick polyester. Instead of silkily flowing around the body, it makes it sit awkwardly, and just a few steps charge it with ridiculous amounts of static, so it clings and rides up. The dress I received was poorly cut, with sides hanging lower than the middle. The "long" sleeves are only 3/4, and the elastic gathering them is very tight - I found it uncomfortable after less than a minute. I wanted to love this dress, and was really looking forward to wearing it this summer, but the reality was extremely disappointing. Even if the fit was better, the lining makes it unusable as a summer dress, while the cut makes it hard to wear as anything else.
