Light and airy for summer

This is a cute little casual dress, perfect for tossing on over a swimsuit or going out for a stroll during hot weather. Without the belt it has an A-line shape. It is VERY light and thin polyester material, almost like a light scarf. It comes with its own separate slip/lining. The slip has spaghetti straps and is a bit shorter than the dress. There are little snaps on the underside of the dress at the shoulders for the spaghetti straps to loop into so they don't slip off. The slip is also very light. I think the slip (or one of your own) is necessary as the dress can be see-through in the lighter striped areas. I'm 5'6", and the unbelted dress ends about an inch above my knees. Belted, it's even shorter. According to the sizing measurements, I should have gotten a large, but ordered a medium instead as they were out of large. The medium fits correctly and a large would have been way too big. I'd recommend going one size down if your measurements are on the lower end of a specific size range. I ordered the blue dress; the slip that comes with it is navy blue. The belt is tan.
