Not like the picture

I'm sorry to say that this dress looks way better here on the website and on this model than it did on me. It shows the dress flowing from the empire waist down. It did not do that. It was too big on top - gapped at the arm holes - and was too tight on the bottom. I am 5'9" and a size 10. It was EXTREMELY difficult to get into as the zipper did not go down long enough and the material had no give. It is NOT LINED. It is only lined in the chest area - it would be see through on any kind of sunny day. THere is also an unusually large exposed silver zipper on the back (like a design feature) which was not a design feature I cared for. I think this dress would work for someone who is large on the top and very very thin on the bottom and doesn't care about it being see through or is willing to wear a slip (which I haven't done since the 80's - do they even make them anymore?).
