I tried this on at a store and it's super cute. Don't be put off by the simplicity-the quality is great BUT be aware of the "bateau neck." I bought another Lily Pulitzer on Amazon and reviewed it and it also had a bateau neck and you really have to have wide shoulders to make it work. It fit perfectly everywhere except on the shoulders where it literally slipped off. It's not evident on the model (she's thin but tall and big-boned as is my cousin who could pull off the look on the other Lily dress I reviewed on here). Don't mistake a broad back with broad shoulders. I have bought Lily dresses before but when it says "bateau" they mean it. And my cousin doesn't look as if she has wide shoulders-she's just tall (and slim) and I think it has to do more with height. Women who are 5'3" (me) just don't have wide shoulders.

The picture is so much cuter than the actual dress. I ordered a size L my normal size and it was too big. I found the material to be very thin and cannot imagine how the price of this dress justifies the poor quality. It is more to the order of a sleep shirt.

First off, I ordered this dress using prime's free two-day shipping and received it FedEx next day...thank you, Amazon!I had so many compliments wearing this dress! The color is a bright and beautiful turquoise as shown, but looks even better than the photo. The Pima cotton fabric is light and comfortable- but not see-thru and it did not wrinkle! I wore it to a friend's baby shower and then out in the city on a saturday night with a pair of strappy yellow leather heels and a single long beaded necklace...it's versatile enough to wear dressed-up or casual. Bought this in size XS (I'm 5'6" and 117lbs). The length is just right; hits about mid thigh, and the fit is straight like a shift dress. This is a boatneck so it has a wide neckline, perfect for showing off the collar bone...which I think makes me look taller for whatever reason?! I haven't washed it yet, but I hope the fabric quality is as good as it seems because I will be wearing this dress a lot!
