Super cute, but a bit of an odd fit

In contrast to the other reviewer, I actually found the waist too small and the shoulders/neck too big. I'm fairly petite (5ft, 100lbs) with relatively small hips, but it's a bit of a squeeze at the waist and at the same time I have trouble with bra straps showing because the neck is too wide. However, the dress is still really cute on my hanger and on me, so I definitely recommend.

Big at waist

I got this a size up from my normal size 8 because I know French Connection often runs a size small but I dont think it was necessary on this item. It was very soft and fit great at the neck, not showing bra straps and the green color was amazing. However I found it too wide and loose in the waist, and this is coming from someone who just had a baby. While pretty and soft, it reminded me more of a nightgown than a tunic or dress. It was also several inches longer than some of French Connection tunics that are so popular and because of this it was simply too long for my 5'6" frame. Perhaps a size down or a good shrink in the dryer would help. If you are curvy or want to use a belt, you would love this dress.
