Runs long, fabric wearing quickly, still became an instant favorite

I am 5'5" and the back of the dress is barely off the ground. The fabric looks and feels great until after the second wash when the stretchy waist loses elasticity and the already loose shape becomes almost shapeless. Still, it's so comfortable and such a pretty color that I find excuses to wear it.
